Great restaurant and Café with amazing cakes and a modern selection of food. Very tasty vegetarian options as well and inside they have a small shop with goodies from the region. Love it

We came to Sabores das Maltezas to have the highly recommended vegan burger, however, looking at the menu I saw a vegan toasted sandwich (vegan cheese, pineapple and banana) which piqued my interest. We ended up sharing the toastie and the vegan burger and Oh My Word!! I was blown away. This was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time, and definitely the best toastie I’ve had since going vegan. The chef also makes a vegan panacotta but unfortunately she was sold out when we went. We will just have to go back another day to try it
